Pocket Informant For iPhone Submitted To Apple

And there it goes. Its off to Apple! I will be sending out notices to everyone who signed up shortly. The Lite version will be uploaded to Apple once 1.00 gets accepted. The reasoning is that if Apple finds anything to reject us for (a button they don't like or something), I don't want to have to have an issue with the Lite version. Lite will be free, but limited to one week's worth of appointments and 10 tasks.

Very welcome news! If I had a bottle of champagne, I'd pop the cork and raise a toast. I'll keep my eyes on the App store.

I shall drink a glass of champagne and ask everyone to join in a virtual toast. Congratulations to you, Chris and the rest of the team, from atleast one customer in Hong Kong (once Apps Store in UK carries PI for iP) and I hope that the development period has been worth it for you. :D

Congratulations Alex, Chris and the team. I've seen first hand how much effort you guys have put into this app, and I hope it is as big a success as it deserves.

Go into iTunes then search for application, ensure that it does not show that PI for iP is now available and then hit the request link

Excellent news! Any chance of posting a manual, assuming you'e had time to write one. I'd like to know in detail how you recommend setting up syncing of diaries and tasks so I can prepare for Apple releasing it to the App Store.

Alex,

How will the update frequency differ with your iPhone version vs. the WM version. Since each update has to go through Apple Approval Process, will you limit the number of updates you do?

Hmmm, does that mean PI will use a seperate database and it is not possible to synchronize PI with an exchange server?

The manual is being written now. Our doc writer was busy with the PIBB 1.5 docs and took a week break and now back on the iPhone one.
