I found the timezone issue.

Cool, thanks.

I do not think that the logic changed - but it may have. Its been 3-4 months of dev so I don't recall everything. But I strongly doubt I changed that.

Any chance you can check? It hits me upside the head which tells me it's probably not how it used to behave.

Alex, started using the new version and have a few comments:
1. When using the month view on my treo 750, the center button selects and opens the inline view of a particular date, but hitting the center button again does not deselect that day and allow you to move on to subsequent months.

2. The drop-down time selection for a new appointment is still pretty lame for such a sophisticated program. A more functional time picker for keyboard navigation would be much better.

3. Specifically what other one-handed modifications were made? I'm not seeing too many.

Thanks, Jan

Hmm, strange. I can't install this one. Never had this before. I am running a Treo 750v and the installation gets stuck at the postion shown on the screenshot.

What I did: I downloaded & launched the WM5 cab file. Then it said something about unknown publisher, which I accepted as usual. Then the WebIS license comes up, which I also accepted. The next screen is the one shown in the screenshot and that's where it is stuck. It doesn't freeze the PPC, the installation just doesn't go ahead.

I tried softresets and I tried re-downloading the cab file. Didn't work so far. The only difference is that the unknown publisher warning does not come up again, but it jumps straight to the WebIS license now. Hope you can help.

Many thanks for the fantasic work
Magxs

Unknown publisher is because the CABs aren't signed - that's normal, especially for beta. But the point your screenshot shows up may be that some file is being used. You may need to do an uninstall first.

What about the recent contacts view? I click on it and it will not show any contacts.

Well it won't show anything until you do something with contacts :) It does not use the Windows "Recent" list, but our own which gets marked every time you do certain actions with a contact.

Correct. We won't do that because we use the center button for other things such as opening the appt or doing a tap/hold action. To move to subsequent months, just keep navigating to the right or left off the month.

We know, but not going to happen now. As I've written before, one handed use is important to me - but at the same time not 100% of our users care about it. I am not catering 100% to one handed users. I have other things to do as well.

Quite a few. First, we improved one hand support in a lot of little ways throughout the views. Added the Goto Date menu item in the Calendar soft key (which also lets you get to "Today" - originally I had a submenu there but realized that still took 3 taps to get to and the dialog has it on the left soft key so its still 3 taps. The Category Editor now is fully one hand capable. All the dialogs always were. Of course the Month View was redone for one handed mode. One handed Week View was added too. "Next" tab was added to the editors to make that a bit easier. Improvements in the contacts editor. Improvements in the date picker. It is basically more than a dozen improvements throughout

Just checked - I still see nothing changed. Can you be more specific of HOW you create a new appt? And what view is this again?

nthdgreee - in all my tests it was working properly now. The issue before was a loop issue but in quite a few tests all was working for me. I may need your pim.vol and an example to reproduce.

No problem. How do I get the pim.vol to you? Here's screen shot in case you missed my edited post.

Thats what I thought. I have both edited & added new contacts with neither showing up on this view.

That's weird - oh...I know why. I turned the marking off for this build for debugging purposes (we have a crash situation that I was debugging) and I forgot to turn it back on... Since I know its not the cause of the crash now I'll turn it back on.

Alex, in task view with my treo 750 when using the center button held to bring forth context menu, selecting complete, the checkbox gets marked but then that same menu automatically comes up again.
